  • What, if any, prior cooking experience is required to attend a CHEF GARRISON class?
    Our curriculum is designed to benefit all skill levels, regardless of age.
  • How does the membership program work?
    Memberships offers big savings on classes, reserved seating, enhanced learning through regular attendance, and opportunity to advance through our Chef program.
  • Does my child get to eat what he/she/they makes in class?
    Yes the child does get to eat and take home what they made in class. They are then encouraged to make the recipes at home to share with their family.
  • What are materials fees?
    Materials fees are to help with the costs of supplies, food, materials and expenses required in order to run the program.
  • How do you prioritize safety in the kitchen?
    CHEF GARRISON prides itself on implementing and reinforcing strict kitchen safety practices in all our programming. (i.e., Safety gloves, safety knives, stovetop safety.)
  • Do the parents stay during class?
    Select events are developed for parents to participate but our regular class & event offerings are designed for the young chefs in the family to foster independence and empowerment.
  • Will my child be involved in every step of the cooking process?
    CHEF GARRISON is a hands-on environment where all students participate to improve their culinary skills.
  • How do you accommodate children with food allergies?
    Due to the variety of themes and recipes being taught each day, and the skill-focused culinary experience we provide to our customers, we cannot guarantee that certain ingredients or appliances to be free of allergens. We invite anyone with concerns to visit with the local CHEF GARRISON management regarding a specific class or event offering.
  • What ages are your camps?
    Camps, Classes and Workshops are geared for students ages 5 thru teens.
  • When will we get copies of the recipes?
    Our students will recieve all of the recipes made at the last session.
  • Do you offer classes for Girl Scouts?

  • Do you have classes for younger children?

  • How much does an individual class cost?
    All programs are different, please select the program that suits your needs.
  • Do you offer classes for home schoolers?

  • Can materials fees be pro-rated?
    No materials fees are not pro-rated and can't be negotiated.
  • How do I determine what class is best suited for my child?
    Contact your CHEF ACADEMY who will be glad to review options that fit your child’s interests.
  • Do you offer classes for the entire family?
    Yes, contact CHEF GARRISON for scheduling.
  • Why do some classes have materials fees and others don't?
    All classes have a materials fee, however, some classes have that fee already included in the entire price of the class(s).
  • Why are some classes different prices?
    Every class, program and contract is different. Which results in a different price.
